Please join Kenneth Grote, Esq and Steven LeVine, Esq from Scheuerman Law  as they discuss  the "Nuts & Bolts of Criminal Law."

We hope to see you there!

Kenneth Grote's interest in criminal law began when he clerked for the Hon. Joseph McCurdy in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. There, he say on a felony criminal docket and observed numerous felony criminal jury trials. Ken became a prosecutor in Talbot Count before joining the State's Attorney's Office in Carroll County. There, he prosecuted nearly every type of traffic and criminal case, misdemeanors, and felonies. He completed Top Gun training for law enforcement, is certified by the MSP in Advanced Collision Investigations, and assisted LEO on search warrants, sobriety checkpoints, and warrant sweeps.

Steve LeVine found his passion for criminals defense during his final year of law school, where he participated in the Innocence Project Clinic representing individuals in Writs of Actual Innocence and Post-Conviction hearings. Prior to entering private practice, Steve was a judicial law clerk, and gained an insider perspective of the bench. Steve was then assigned by the State of Maryland to defend thousands of criminal defendants who otherwise did not have the means to secure private counsel.
