Maryland Association of Paralegals is excited to welcome Edison Lopez, of the Pro Bono Resource Center, for a discussion of immigration law from the paralegal's perspective.

Edison joined PBRC in 2020 and serves as the Project Paralegal for the Maryland Immigrant Legal Assistance Project. Edison is the point of contact for Spanish-speaking clients at weekly clinics, conducts follow-up calls with clients, connects Marylanders with legal resources, and manages the volunteer interpreters. Before joining PBRC, Edison worked as a docent in local Baltimore museums and served on the GLSEN Maryland Board of Directors.
